London, UK -(FirearmsGuide.com)- Helping The Next Generation of Gunmakers. This beautiful, virtually unused pair of 12-bore Purdey Sporter over and under shotguns were completed in 2021.

A percentage of the proceeds from the sale of these guns will be donated to the Gunmakers Company Charitable Trust. This extremely good cause was founded in 2007 and has funded 22 apprentices to date. The invaluable work this charity is carrying out is helping to develop the next generation of gunmakers.

Clay Or Game. Designed by the original owner for clay and game but with one eye on Grouse shooting in particular, these unique guns have 27 1/2 inch barrels with fixed 1/4 choke constrictions in both barrels. The ventilated rib was fitted for greater heat dispersion during high volume shooting.

Exquisite Walnut Stocks. The exhibition grade Walnut stocks, measuring 14 1/2 inches, feature an English straight hand with a swan neck style grip. Weighing a lighter weight of 7lb 2oz, these versatile guns were designed and used by the original owner for their ease of handling on different types of shooting.

The Purdey Starburst Logo. Engraved with depth on the base of the action is the iconic Purdey starburst logo. Although a feature of every Sporter produced since this models launch in 2007, the case colour hardened finish particularly brings out this design.
