Madison, MS -(FirearmsGuide.com)- Gold Tip®, an industry leader in carbon arrows and bolts, is proud to announce that team archers Kyle Douglas and Tim Gillingham finished first in their respective divisions at the ASA Hoyt/Easton Pro/Am held in Foley, Alabama.

Competing in the Known Pro Division, Douglas took the top spot with a pro total score of 552. Fellow teammate and Gold Tip staff manager, Tim Gillingham, tallied 492 pro total points for his win in the Senior Known Pro division.

The Foley Pro/Am is the traditional first match of the 3-D outdoor archery season, and two wins for Team Gold Tip archers is a strong 2024 start after a record-setting 2023 campaign.

“It’s always good to get back to Foley,” said Gillingham. “We can’t ask for a better start to the season, and there’s no letup from Kyle. As a team, Gold Tip set numerous records during last year’s season and things are already off to a hot start.”

At the culmination of the 2023 season, Douglas was named the ASA Known Pro Shooter of the Year while Gillingham was runner-up for ASA Senior Known Pro Shooter of the Year.

Team Gold Tip looks ahead to upcoming ASA Pro/Am matches in Russell County, Alabama, March 21-24, Camp Minden, Louisiana, in April and London, Kentucky, at the end of May.
