The Olight Valkyrie Turbo LEP with 250~60 lumens (70,225cd) is not the most powerful Oligh weapon light but is it still awesome, especially for indoor usage in the middle of the night. It is not too bright to blind you in the most sensitive moment in the middle of the night in your house. If you are outside, the throw of 530 meters should be enough to light properly any far object.

The Valkyrie Turbo LEP is the first Valkyrie light to adopt an eye-safe LEP light source. The new LEP technology achieves a 530-meter pure white beam with a very little spill, suitable for long-range illumination and target practice. Please note that all screws, wrenches, and 1913 adapters are located under the printed manual in the box. Located there, they are not easy to find so you may not notice them and wonder why you didn't get them. 

Please see GL Rail Adapter preinstalled on the Valkyrie Turbo. Lever that locks the light onto your gun is now in "LOCKED" position. 

MOUNTING: The Valkyrie Turbo LEP comes with GL Rail Adapter already installed but in the package, you will get a 1913 Rail Adapter, Allen Screws, and T6/T8 Socket Head Wrench to be able to mount it on the gun with 1913 rail. Just like with many other Olight weapon lights, mounting is simple and easy. The heavy-duty quick attach and release mounting system allows the light to have a tight hold on any firearm with a 1913 or Glock style rail. This system is simple and very effective.

Simply release the lever on the left side of the light and push the lever in towards the light. This opens up the left jaw of the mounting clamp. Slide the light onto your firearm and ensure that the rail adapter fits nicely. Once you have the light held on with your hand, simply pull the lever back towards the switches and it will lock on to your firearm. Once attached there is absolutely no movement. The system makes installation and removal a literal snap instead of having to hand screw a bolt.

CONTROLS: The Valkyrie Turbo LEP has an ambidextrous switch that allows the user to continue to use their preferred grip on the firearm while still being able to activate the switch at a moment’s notice in a high-stress situation. This user-friendly ambidextrous switch can be either pushed forward or pressed on either side to activate the light to temporary on, constant on, or strobe setting. These two switches are easy to use even when you use large gloves. When Valkyrie Turbo LEP is mounted, switches will be right at your fingertips. Using this ambidextrous switch is so simple that in high-stress situations, it becomes second nature to operate your weapon light.

MODES OF LIGHT: 

Constant On/Off: Single press either side of the tail switch for constant on. While the light is on, press either side of the tail switch again to turn it off. 

Momentary On: Press and hold down either side of the tail switch for momentary-on. Let go of the switch and the light will turn off.

Strobe: To enter strobe mode, it is necessary to press both sides of the tail switch and release, or to press and hold one side and then press the other and release. When in strobe mode, you have to press either side of the switch to turn it off.

BATTERIES: The Valkyrie Turbo LEP is powered by two replaceable 1600mAh CR123A batteries and Olight states that RCR123A batteries can be used but it does not recommend that. The Valkyrie Turbo LEP battery compartment features an easy-to-access lock to prevent accidental opening during operation. You just have to push the tab slightly and pull the pack to open the battery compartment. To be able to do that and to replace the batteries, you will have to unmount the light from your gun. After the batteries are replaced, you will have to mount the light again. A properly mounted light will sit so close to your trigger guard that the batteries compartment door is blocked and cannot be accidentally opened.

The CR123A batteries are widely accessible and they are used in many tactical accessories so we are sure that many of you have a decent stock of them, ready to be used. Plus, it is easier to change CR123A batteries than a built-in rechargeable battery. The Olight states that you should get up to 4 minutes in 250 lumens mode and up to 184 minutes in 60 lumens mode with this battery setup.
